Josh Stepherson, Principal
Josh Stepherson is the founder and principal of Stepherson & Associates, a public affairs consulting firm offering the full range of public relation and communication services to organizations, businesses, and local governments since 2006. Stepherson & Associates is a State of Washington certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).

Josh has over 12 years of experience engaging communities, key stakeholder groups and policy makers around high profile and often controversial issues and projects. He has built a solid reputation as a strategic and creative thinker who works effectively with diverse constituent groups to identify problems, develop solutions and gain the support necessary to meet critical project milestones and advance organizational goals.

Josh has coordinated communication and public engagement efforts for elected officials, government agencies, political campaigns, non-profit organizations, and businesses. In addition, he has played key roles on some of the region’s most high-profile transportation projects. These include the $1.7 billion Seattle Monorail Project, $360 million Bridging the Gap Initiative and $52 million South Lake Union Line of the new Seattle Streetcar.

Bob Derry, Associate
Bob Derry has extensive experience as a technical and public participation consultant on projects affecting Seattle’s neighborhoods. He has worked with the City of Seattle to secure pedestrian friendly, transit-oriented zoning changes, has drafted and successfully advocated for an amendment to the Seattle Comprehensive Plan, and is the author of creative legislative zoning changes currently under consideration. In this work he has formed and acted as executive director of a neighborhood association, organized public outreach meetings, developed constituent groups, and managed neighborhood communications. Recently he collaborated with city engineers and a technical team to establish a multi-million-dollar Local Improvement District. Bob also served as the Seattle Monorail Project’s community liaison for the Interbay, Magnolia and Ballard neighborhoods during the environmental review and the alignment and design process for the Green Line.

Bob holds a degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
